DISCO Digital Twin Tool
A digital simulation platform that enables cities and logistics stakeholders to test, compare and optimise urban logistics policies before implementation using data-driven digital twins.
Product Details
The Digital Twin for Urban Logistics is a decision-support platform that helps cities evaluate urban logistics strategies before they are implemented. It combines data from multiple sources to create a digital representation of freight activities, allowing cities to simulate different scenarios and compare their expected environmental, economic and operational impacts.
The platform includes an integrated anonymisation protocol that protects sensitive information while enabling trusted data sharing between public authorities and logistics operators. It also generates synthetic data to reconstruct freight activity patterns and assess large-scale logistics behaviour without exposing confidential operational data.
In the Copenhagen Living Lab, the Digital Twin was used to test different decarbonisation strategies based on traffic regulations and logistics hubs.
