Zeabuz is future-proofing waterborne transport with advanced driver assistance, highly automated and autonomous sailing solutions that can be deployed on new vessel designs or retrofitted to existing fleets. By enabling safer, more energy-efficient, and cost-effective operations, the Zeabuz autonomy solutions address critical challenges in the maritime industry: growing crew shortages and skill gaps, decarbonisation and operational safety.
Founded as a deep-tech spin-off from the leading research centre on autonomous vessels at the Norwegian University of Technology and Science, Zeabuz launched the world’s first autonomous urban passenger ferries and are now integrating solutions on a wide range of vessels from small USVs to large car ferries.
Zeabuz solutions include advanced sensor fusion for situational awareness, autonomous navigation with collision avoidance, automated operations like auto-docking and auto-departure, advanced motion control and remote vessel operations.
