The STELION Powertrain module for Reefer is a ground-breaking solution to decarbonise refrigerated transport in ports and logistics hubs. Powered by green hydrogen, it replaces conventional diesel or battery-based systems with a hybrid fuel cell and battery module, delivering clean and continuous power to refrigeration units with zero local emissions and minimal noise.

Designed for real-world use in high-demand environments, the STELION Powertrain module is being adapted to fit standard reefer containers, ensuring compatibility without structural modifications. With its plug & play capsule-based hydrogen storage and high-efficiency hybrid system, it extends the operating range of reefers and reduces charging downtime.

This solution is ideal for port operations and urban logistics where emissions and noise restrictions are a growing challenge. It also anticipates the tightening of environmental regulations across the EU.
