The Mobility Impact Module enables cities and transport authorities to evaluate mobility projects’ impact on health and quantify their economic benefit. Co- developed with Barcelona’s Metropolitan Transport Authority, it expands the proven Healthy Cities Generator tool, tailoring it to assess mobility-specific interventions (i.e., public transport, cycling upgrades, low-emission zones). It estimates how mobility interventions affect environmental, physical and mental health, quantifying increases in life expectancy, deaths avoided and estimated economic savings.

The new Mobility Impact Module will ultimately transform how cities understand and communicate the health and economic value of sustainable mobility, empowering planners and decision-makers across Europe to achieve healthier, more sustainable cities.
