Pollution Reduction

EMSOL provides MCERTS-certified air quality monitoring for precise, real-time measurement of PM1, PM2.5, PM10 and key gases (NO₂, NO, SO₂, O₃, CO).

The robust Praxis performs reliably across diverse environments, including urban infrastructure, construction and healthcare. Following trials to develop low-cost sub-surface air quality monitors with Transport for London, RATP and Imperial College London, funded by EIT Urban Mobility and the EU, the Praxis has been adapted for use on underground subway platforms.

Correction models developed via collocation with reference-grade equipment in ambient urban environments and underground subway platforms help ensure data accuracy. Sensor readings are uploaded every 10 seconds to EMSOL’s online platform for visualisation, reporting, and tracking.

Optional modifications enhance fire safety and reduce space requirements underground. Combined with calibration, maintenance, and ongoing support, EMSOL enables organisations to manage air quality.
