As electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure continues to expand across Europe, not all drivers can use charging networks with confidence. For people with reduced mobility, accessibility remains uncertain, while van drivers often struggle to determine whether a charging bay can accommodate their vehicle. This lack of reliable information creates unnecessary barriers and discourages EV adoption.

This solution addresses the challenge through a web-based data collection platform that captures detailed information about EV charging stations. Users can record key accessibility and usability attributes, including bay dimensions, kerb height, wheelchair manoeuvring space, vehicle clearance and other relevant features, supported by pictures of each location.

The collected data is made available in an open, DATEX-compatible format, enabling easy integration into navigation services, charging platforms and other mobility applications.
