Germany-Berlin: Provision of floating car data for automatic traffic situation calculation in Berlin-Brandenburg.

The traffic information center (VIZ) Berlin has a modern system for automatic traffic situation calculation. In Berlin, the traffic situation is currently being calculated for a road network of approx. 3,105 km (directional). Prepared Floating Car Data (FCD) for traffic information, control and planning are to be made available for this network.

Important road network connections between the states of Berlin and Brandenburg must be included in order to be able to depict a cross-state traffic situation in the Berlin-Brandenburg area. Therefore, in Brandenburg, the connection area with Berlin, i.e. the adjacent main roads (approx. 833 km in direction) should also be detected.
