Germany-Berlin: Construction of a footpath bridge to connect areas of Europacity

North of the main train station on Heidestrasse between Nordhafen and Humboldthafen, Europacity is being built as the largest inner-city development area in Berlin. It covers an area of ​​40 hectares with four planning areas of different characters and focal points.

To establish the connection between the areas of Europacity to the east of the railway line and the Fritz-Schloss-Park/Poststadion to the west and the Döberitz green corridor, a footpath bridge over the long-distance, regional and S-Bahn systems is to be planned. The bridge structure and the corresponding ramps are designed to be barrier-free and for limited use by bicycles.
