Brussels: Business modelling for shared off-street car parks.

parking.brussels is issuing three assignments for the creation of an environment and a service of parking.brussels, aimed at individuals and companies, with the aim of stimulating and facilitating the creation of parking spaces shared by those private individuals and private and public companies in the Brussels-Capital Region: a strategic component (study), a software development component (web platform) and a hardware component (equipment and management).

The assignments provide for an iterative process between the strategy, software and hardware components, whereby the “strategy” and “hardware” components will determine the development needs for the creation of a centralized “software” platform.

The current assignment concerns the execution of a "business design" study that will map the role and services of the Agency in the field of park sharing promotion. The main aim is to stimulate and simplify the creation, referral, visibility and commercialization of the shared car parks. The Agency's "park sharing" mission shall be implemented in accordance with the ambitions of the GoodMove plan and the Parking Ordinance, which aim to shift parking from "on-street" to "off-street".
