Romania-Târgoviște: Delivery of fleet management and e-ticketing systems

The contract involves the purchase, supply, delivery, and installation of a fleet management system and an e-ticketing system for the urban public transport in the Municipality of Târgovişte. This is part of the funding request for the project "Completion of the car park in the Municipality of Târgovişte by purchasing ecological vehicles intended for urban public transport".

The project aims to enhance sustainable urban development by reducing CO2emissions and promoting sustainable urban mobility plans. It complements another project focused on improving urban public transport through the purchase of ecological vehicles and infrastructure development.

The Municipality of Târgovişte aims to establish a fast, attractive, accessible, ecological, and comfortable urban transport system. The project includes purchasing 12 new non-polluting vehicles that meet European standards for comfort and safety. Additionally, equipment will be installed in the buses and integrated into the fleet management system (ITS), which includes the e-ticketing system.

Overall, the project aims to create a technically sustainable and financially efficient public transport structure, improving the efficiency of public passenger transport and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions while offering enhanced comfort and safety for passengers.
