Romania-Câmpina: Creation of a Smart City Strategy and Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP)
Background
The aim of this tender is to address several pressing needs at the municipal level and contribute to the sustainable development of the community. Firstly, it involves the development of a Smart City Strategy for the medium term to facilitate sustainable community growth. Secondly, a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan is to be established. At a global level, it emphasises the active involvement of local communities through sustainable partnerships with community members and public institutions.
The project's innovation lies in the use of cutting-edge technologies to implement Integrated Information Systems, particularly focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This innovation is ground-breaking, as these technologies have not been extensively implemented in local public authorities. The project's implementation is expected to significantly enhance services provided to the population and improve the quality of shared services by integrating services from various institutions.
The Smart City Strategy and Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan are innovative in their integrated strategic planning approach. The primary objective of this tender is the acquisition of services for the development, implementation, and installation of an Integrated Information System for the Câmpina Local Police. This system, based on Software as a Service (SaaS) and Hardware as a Service (HaaS), aims to centralise and streamline information from various IT applications, promoting electronic document administration. It also seeks to integrate with other applications where technically feasible, ensuring optimal operation for a minimum of five years and providing room for future expansion and development as per the Public Authority's requirements.
This tender falls under the project "Strategic planning and digitalisation of public services at the level of the Câmpina municipality," with a focus on digitising shared services. Clarifications can be requested up to 20 days before the submission deadline, and the contracting authority will provide comprehensive responses 12 days before the submission deadline.
