The Challenge

The Premios Retina ECO recognise innovative technological projects that contribute to sustainability and climate action, particularly those reducing environmental impact or emissions. The goal is to identify projects that combine technology, innovation and sustainability with measurable impact on the fight against climate change.

There are five categories, each selecting one winner:

  1. Energy and green resources
  2. Sustainable public innovation
  3. Smart mobility
  4. Sustainable ecosystem
  5. SME innovation in sustainability (for startups or small companies).

Who can apply?

Applicants can include both individuals and organisations that meet the requirements.

  • Individuals (18+ years old) with tax residence in Spain
  • Companies, startups, SMEs or self-employed professionals legally established in Spain
  • Public administrations or public-private partnerships (for relevant categories)

Projects must:

  • Be implemented in Spain
  • Be already completed or operational
  • Have achieved relevant milestones by 31 December 2025

Participation is free of charge.
