Norway-Trondheim: Dialogue for assessing the impacts of public transport in conjunction with new shared mobility forms
Background
Skyss, Kolumbus, Ruter, and AtB would like to develop methods for evaluating and quantifying the effects of public transport in combination with new, shared forms of mobility. See the attachment for more details.
The aim is to have a dialogue with relevant research and consultant environments connected to innovation within mobility. As the project involves innovation within both mobility and methods, the companies are open to both well-established transport research and financial environments and smaller environments with expertise within new forms of mobility.
This involves, amongst other things, the following:
- How do you evaluate and quantify the contribution of public investments in shared mobility as regards achieving the zero growth goal?
- How do you evaluate and quantify the effect and cost efficiency of general mobility offers that comprise both traditional public transport and new, shared forms of mobility.
- How do you assess the effect and cost efficiency of traditional public transport and shared mobility in a way that enables comparison across forms of mobility.
- What control parameters are suitable for measuring the public transport companies' contribution to achieving the zero growth goal? What other conditions, (for example CO2, NOx, PM2.5/10, public health, etc.,) ought to be included in the assessment of different forms of mobility and how can they be quantified?
