Norway-Molde: Conducting a market analysis to gain customer insights in public transport
Background
The purpose of this tender is to establish a Framework Agreement for the procurement of services related to market analysis and customer insight. This agreement is essential for FRAM, which oversees operational management by multiple operators (bus and shipping companies) under contracts. With approximately 20 million visitors annually, FRAM is responsible for revenue and marketing.
To create an appealing mobility offering, it is crucial to understand the local market and the travel needs of Møre og Romsdal's residents. FRAM aims to conduct various surveys and analyses, including customer satisfaction surveys, travel habit surveys, and other types of surveys to gain comprehensive market and customer insights.
Currently, FRAM conducts regular customer satisfaction surveys on buses and an annual web and panel-based survey on travel habits. Through this new framework agreement, FRAM seeks the flexibility to conduct an annual customer satisfaction survey and other ad-hoc surveys as required. This initiative will enable FRAM to stay attuned to the evolving needs of their passengers and enhance their services accordingly.
