The Challenge

For people with disabilities, East London’s public spaces serve as crucial hubs for community interaction, leisure, and transport, often presenting significant barriers that hinder their full participation.

SHIFT seeks digital solutions to identify and address barriers that hinder equitable access and participation for all. Digital solutions could provide accessible travel information and real-time updates or help people with disabilities report accessibility issues and suggest improvements.

SHIFT London will host one pilot in collaboration with local residents in East London.

Who can apply?

  • Companies and associations established in the EU, with a valid European business ID
  • Individual citizens through their host institution, or from a country associated to Horizon Europe
