Background

Object 1 – Refurbishment of Alba Iulia station

1.1.1 Alba Iulia power station

The 220 kV substation will be outdoor type, with air insulation, made with conventional equipment, located on the disused surface of the current 220 kV substation.

The 110 kV substation will be of an indoor type, with insulation in SF6, located on the disused surface of the current 110 kV substation (see Object 1 RetehStatieAlbaIulia / Object 1.1 StatiaElectricaAlbaIulia /S1 Specification for primary equipment 220/110kV station, S2 Specification of 110kV cables, S3 Specification for transformer units).

The 20kV station will be located in two containers, each section of bars being located in 1 container, arranged parallel with a door between them and connected in cable by means of coupling cells (see Object 1 RetehStatieAlbaIulia/ Object 1.1 StationElectricaAlbaIulia/ S 4 Notebook of station loads 20 k / Object 1.2 Connected Systems).

1.1.3 Private Cloud HW&SW Extension

Considering the implementation of this project, the existing HW&SW Private Cloud type IaaS will be expanded, to cover the basic HW and SW needs of data processing and storage, mainly dedicated to the following IT applications at the level of CNTEE Transelectrica SA/ UTT Sibiu:


  • Asset Health Center, including Digital Twin and Augmented Reality; • Geographic Information System (GIS); • Outage Management System (OMS); • Building Management System (BMS)
  • E-Mobility; • Learning platform; • Firewall management platform; • Switching and radio infrastructure management platform (Wifi); • Mobile equipment management console


Object 2 – E-Mobility

Within this project, the following components of the E-Mobility system will be purchased: charging stations for electric cars, central cabinets with related equipment for the acquisition of data from charging stations, respectively the charging station management platform.


Object 3 – Learning Platform

The "Learning Platform" within the Pilot Project - Refurbishment of the 220/110/20 kV Alba Iulia station in the concept of a digital station will serve the staff of CNTEE Transelectrica SA- UTT Sibiu and the "Digital Laboratory"


Object 4 - Telecommunications with Hidroelectrica

In this chapter, the telecommunications solution related to the Alba Iulia - Gâlceag, respectively Alba Iulia - Șugag Overhead Electric Lines (LEA) is presented. The Gâlceag and Șugag stations are managed by HIDROELECTRICA.


Object 5 – Digital Laboratory

The Digital Laboratory, part of the investment objective "Pilot Project - Refurbishment of the 220/110/20 kV Alba Iulia station in the concept of a digital station" will be located in a building made available by the Faculty of Energy within the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
