Background

The assignment consists of preparation and delivery of trainings and capacity-building for sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMP), with a special focus on the following services:


  • Support to TEN-T urban nodes and cities covered by the Cities' Mission;
  • Support for small/medium-sized cities in the EU;
  • Facilitate the development of regional SUMPs and the development of SUMPs aggregating more than one city, such as metropolitan areas, functional urban areas (FUAs), etc.;
  • Support for the establishment of National SUMP Support Programmes (NSSPs);
  • Monitoring and reporting mechanisms (Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicators/SUMI).
