Background

The city of Leipzig is looking for innovative solutions in three areas:

  • Medical transport
  • Emission reduction
  • New digital museum experience

From all submitted concepts, three will be selected for each question and further developed with the city administration. EUR 2,000 gross is awarded for each of these nine ideas. From this, the best idea for each question should then be chosen and tested in practice. These three concepts will be rewarded with a maximum of 25,000 euros gross during the implementation phase.


New digital museum experience

For years, both the Museum of City History and the Museum of Natural History in Leipzig have been dealing with the question of how they can not only positively manage digital change in the future, but also qualify and further expand digital strategies. This should not only create added value for the museums themselves, but also for the citizens of the city and for society as a whole.
