Background

Background

The 3rd FIA Start-up Challenge will be launched on 31 January 2023. The FIA Start-up Challenge targets start-ups with solutions for car services, mobility services, assistance services, and road safety solutions. The aim of the start-up challenge is to connect start-ups with the FIA Region I network of 100 mobility clubs across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who have a loyal customer base of over 36 million people. Selected start-ups may have the opportunity to pitch their solutions to the FIA Region I network, possibly leading to a partnership with an FIA Mobility Club, to test their solutions with loyal brands and scale-up their solution across the network.

The Challenge

Cars have long been at the centre of Mobility Clubs’ service offering. As times change, do you have a new and innovative solution for car ownership models, electric mobility, or ways to reduce cars’ environmental impact? Nowadays mobility Clubs’ purview reaches not only cars, but also mobility at large, even wider assistance services that simplify and improve their members’ lives. And, as always, road safety plays a special role.

Do you have a solution in one of the four following areas?

  • Car: How can mobility Clubs help improve and innovate the use of cars in the future?
  • Mobility: How can Clubs offer members the best mobility experience and solutions?
  • Assistance: How can mobility Clubs make people’s lives easier and better outside of their cars?
  • Road Safety: How can mobility Clubs contribute to make drivers, vehicles and roads safer?

Pitch your idea to the FIA Region I by applying to the FIA Start-Up Challenge!
