The project seeks innovative solutions for two specific challenges:
- Identifying e-scooter risk hotspots: developing methods to collect, analyse, and visualise data on accidents and near-misses involving e-scooters and cyclists, especially incidents not captured in official statistics.
- Optimising e-scooter parking locations: creating solutions to improve the accuracy of e-scooter parking, particularly in areas with weak GPS signals, to prevent clutter and enhance pedestrian safety.
Who can apply?
The call is open to suppliers capable of delivering innovative solutions to the outlined challenges. Two pilot projects will be selected:
- Pilot 1: Up to €25,000
- Pilot 2: Up to €20,000
The total budget for both pilots is €45,000. Applications must be submitted by March 21, 2025.
