Innovative technological solutions for Catalonia

The Generalitat of Catalonia purchases innovative technological solutions to address 4 challenges to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable mobility model for the public sector and citizens.

With a budget of up to €10 million , co-financed with the FEDER Operational Programme of Catalonia 2021-2027, technological solutions will be put out to tender for the following challenges:

• Optimise the management of public road vehicle fleets.
• Optimise the planning and managing transport infrastructure and traffic in the interurban road network.
• Establish safe routes for mobility in public transport.
• Implement an interoperable management system for charging points.

The technological solutions will be developed to be interoperable in the environment of the transversal corporate data platform of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

A preliminary market consultation (PMC) to provide inputs on potential solutions and approximate cost estimates and assumptions, as well as 1 to 1, are set to happen from February/March of 2024. The publication of the final reports of the PMC will be in April-May, and the tender(s) will be opening in December of the same year.
