Germany-Berlin: Construction of bicycle parking area

Based on the Berlin Mobility Act and the existing needs at Schöneweide train station, a bicycle parking garage with around 740 parking spaces is to be built on the eastern station forecourt and a bicycle parking facility with over 400 parking spaces on Ecksteinweg.

As a pioneering structure for sustainable mobility, the bicycle parking garage should be designed according to its intended use and have a high architectural quality using sustainable building materials. The covered combination facility for free and secured parking spaces on Ecksteinweg is intended to take up the design language of the bicycle parking garage.
