Background

The tender aims to contract a mobility data solution based on tele data, which can provide DSB (Danish State Railways) with insights into travel patterns and transport mode patterns in Denmark. DSB expects to use the mobility data solution for multiple purposes, including but not limited to:


  • Measuring whether DSB succeeds in increasing market shares on selected ODs
  • Analyzing which factors (internal and external to DSB) create fluctuations in DSB market shares over time
  • Analyzing which factors explain the variance in DSB market share across different ODs - Identifying areas/ODs where there is a potential for increasing DSB market shares (or in public transport market shares)
  • Estimating the expected effect of various passenger growth initiatives
