Background

Barcelona Innova Lab Mobility is the urban mobility Living Lab Founded by Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with EIT Urban Mobility, DGT and Fira Barcelona which has launched its second call.

This second edition focuses on a challenge-based programme to Improve Barcelona's bus network. The solutions submitted (TRL 7-9) should be linked at least with one of the following topics:


  • Improvement of user experience
  • Improvement of travel efficiency
  • Bus service optimisation through autonomous vehicles


Entities alone or consortia of partners are welcome to apply by 11 March 20.00 CET. The budget estimate for this edition is €200,000 (2 pilots x €100 thousand) Co-funding: 80%
