Future Mobility

The 14th edition of the 'Mobility Talks' on 07 July (15:30-17:00 CET) focussed on the building blocks for the development and deployment of multimodal digital mobility services, such as #Mobility-as-a-Service applications.

Multimodal digital mobility services make #shared mobility more accessible to users by bundling different modes and mobility providers in a single booking experience. Rolling out such services across European cities has the potential to significantly increase the attractiveness of shared mobility services – from #public transport to #micromobility - so they can #compete with private car ownership .

Yet implementing multimodal digital mobility services is often a slow and complex process, involving various public and private sector actors.

In this webinar, different perspectives are reflected by high-level speakers:

  • Kristian Hedberg, Head of Unit, Sustainable & Intelligent Transport Unit, DG MOVE, European Commission
  • Victoire Champenois, Policy officer, Sustainable & Intelligent Transport Unit, DG MOVE, European Commission
  • Pedro Moreira, Head of Unit, Coordination of the Public Transport, Municipality of Braga
  • Martí Jofre, CEO, Nemi
  • Alexandre Santacreu, Secretary General, EMTA - European Metropolitan Transport Authorities
